Life's demands can make accessing healthcare a challenge. United Health Services (UHS) is committed to simplifying this process by offering innovative healthcare solutions. UHS has developed several programs aimed at providing easy access to essential care, allowing patients to focus on their daily lives.

One of these offerings is the Virtual Walk-in Clinic, which enables patients to consult with healthcare providers through video calls from any location. This service mirrors an in-person visit and ensures continuity of care, especially for existing UHS patients whose medical records are accessible during consultations.

To initiate a virtual visit, patients can visit nyuhs.org and select "Get Virtual Care" followed by "Virtual Walk-In." Creating an account takes about three minutes and is available to everyone.

For prescription needs, UHS offers quick refills at conveniently located pharmacies across the Greater Binghamton Region. These locations have extended hours and include specialty pharmacy services for complex conditions. The Johnson City pharmacy provides 24/7 access with a drive-through option near UHS Wilson Medical Center.

The Hospital Care at Home program supports over 2,000 patients transitioning from hospital stays since its inception in 2021. This program offers personalized care plans and regular check-ins to ensure smooth recovery processes at home.

UHS MyChart provides a secure online platform for managing health information. Accessible 24/7, it allows users to request prescription refills, pay balances, update coverage, or schedule appointments at their convenience.

While virtual appointments are suitable for many needs like chronic condition management or prescription issues, they should not replace emergency care. In life-threatening situations, calling 911 remains imperative.

UHS continues working towards making healthcare more accessible so that when health issues arise unexpectedly, individuals receive timely support without compromising their routines.

More information on these services is available at nyuhs.org.
