Tioga County issued the following announcement on Oct 6.
The Tioga County Soil and Water Conservation District (Tioga County SWCD) is applying for Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (“CDBG-DR”) funds from the New York State Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery (“GOSR”), NY Rising Community Reconstruction (“NYRCR”) Program for a Watershed Initiative. The Tioga County SWCD is interested in procuring the services of an architectural/engineering firm to complete final design, permitting, construction documents and technical specifications, bid phase service, construction management and inspection services for the Gaylord Road Stream Crossing Project and Fuller Hollow Creek Downstream Stair Park Stream Stabilization Project..
The procedures for the selection of this architectural/engineering firm will be in accordance with the procurement requirements of the CDBG-DR funds from the GOSR, NYRCR Program. All responses received will be evaluated in accordance with the selection criteria and corresponding point system, which is identified in the Request for Proposal package. That package also identifies the scope of services to be performed by the selected firm.
The Tioga County SWCD will award the contract to the respondent obtaining the highest score in the evaluation process.
Interested parties are invited to secure a request for proposal package from Ms. Wendy Walsh, Director, Tioga County Soil and Water Conservation District, 183 Corporate Drive,
Owego, NY 13827. The Tioga County SWCD’s telephone number is (607) 687-3553. Packages may be found below beginning September 17, 2020. The response to this request must be mailed to the above named person at the above named address in such a manner that it is received no later than 12:00 PM, October 14, 2020.
