Deputies often encounter all types of domestic and wild animals on duty. While on patrol today, one of our deputies discovered a baby duckling wandering around the middle of Conklin Road. After a brief foot pursuit and unsuccessful search for the mother duck, the baby duckling was transported to an appropriate person to ensure the duckling grows in a safe environment. The duckling was also nicknamed “Ducky” by two children who got to see it while at the sheriff’s office.
