The Chemung County Office of Emergency Management is organizing an ice distribution event today from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The event will take place at Ice Company of Elmira, located at 401 Madison Ave, Elmira, NY 14901. Residents without power are eligible to receive two seven-pound bags of ice.
In addition, the County of Chemung is working with NYSEG to distribute dry ice and additional water. Further details on this coordination will be provided later.
