U.S. Representative Marc Molinaro has announced plans to host another pinning ceremony for Vietnam War veterans in Cortland County. The event is scheduled for Monday, October 21, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Osco Robinson American Legion Hall in Marathon, New York.
The ceremony aims to honor Vietnam War veterans by presenting them with a pin recognizing their service. It is open to all Vietnam War veterans, their families, and anyone who wishes to pay respect to the veterans.
Molinaro previously held similar ceremonies in Greene, Broome, and Sullivan Counties. He emphasized the importance of these events as a way "to express our utmost gratitude and appreciation for our Vietnam War veterans, who sacrificed so much to protect our nation."
