The Chemung County Legislature has scheduled a special meeting for Monday, November 25, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss a resolution introducing Local Law No. 4 for the year 2024. This law aims to authorize overriding the property tax cap levy limit established by General Municipal Law § 3-c for the upcoming 2025 Chemung County Budget.
The session will take place in the Legislative Chambers located on the fifth floor of the John H. Hazlett Building at 203 Lake Street. Members of the public who are interested in this matter are encouraged to attend.
