Guthrie has announced the addition of several new healthcare providers to its team. These professionals bring a variety of specialties and clinical interests to Guthrie's facilities.
Dr. Neeharika Bhatnagar, a fellowship-trained emergency medicine physician, has joined Guthrie Corning Hospital. She completed her education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine and a fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Dr. Chaitanya Chandrala, a gastroenterologist with expertise in colon cancer screening and inflammatory bowel diseases, is now part of Guthrie Corning Hospital. He completed his training at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center.
Joining the emergency medicine team at Guthrie Corning Hospital are Drs. Adam Ahmad Chaustre and Kevin Greener. Dr. Chaustre was educated at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, while Dr. Greener studied at Albany Medical College.
Dr. Hannah DelFavero, an OB/GYN physician interested in women's health and family planning, is now with Guthrie East Corning. Her education was completed at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine.
At Guthrie Troy Community Hospital, Dr. Jesse Dew joins as an emergency medicine physician after completing his residency at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital.
Family medicine physician Dr. Julie Gallo has joined Guthrie Owego Route 38 with interests in pediatrics and adolescent health.
Psychiatrist Dr. Brian Koch will practice at Guthrie Cortland, focusing on lifestyle medicine and addiction medicine.
Guthrie Sayre welcomes ophthalmologist Dr. Jeremy J. Kudrna who specializes in cataract surgery.
Drs. Xujun Liu and Navin Kumar Subrayappa join the surgical and cardiology teams respectively at various Guthrie locations.
Endocrinologist Dr. Komandur Thrupthi will be practicing at multiple sites including Guthrie Sayre Desmond Street.
Several other medical professionals including optometrist Aaron Rydzynski, interventional pain management specialist Maricela Schnur, pediatric psychiatrist Eleanor Stein, endocrinologist Kristopher Tkatch, hospitalist Jagan Mohan Rao Vanjarapu, physical therapist Thomas Beyer, urogynecologist Dorreen Brune, emergency medicine PA Sierrah Comfort, geriatric FNP Grace Courtney, internal medicine PA Janelle Craft among others have also joined various departments across different locations within the organization.
