Guthrie hospitals welcome newborns during Christmas holiday

Guthrie hospitals in the region celebrated the arrival of several newborns during the Christmas holiday. The births brought additional joy to families across the area.

Karter Zane Stelick was born at 7:35 a.m. on December 24 at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. His parents, Cheryl and Travis Stelick, reside in Dryden, New York. Karter weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and measured 18.75 inches long.

Theresa Dianne Thomaris was welcomed into the world at 2:40 p.m. on December 24 at Guthrie Corning Hospital. Her parents are Michelle Anna Babak and Robert Constantine Thomaris from Elmira, New York. Theresa weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.

Waylon James Custer was born at 11:16 a.m. on December 25 at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center to Mayleigha Demott and John Custer of Tully, New York. Waylon's birth weight was recorded as 6 pounds, 5 ounces with a length of 19 inches.
