The Chemung County Buildings and Grounds Department has announced the opening of Park Station for ice fishing and ice skating. The park will be accessible daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with restrictions on motorized vehicles such as ATVs and snowmobiles on the lake.

These winter activities will continue as long as weather conditions allow. Visitors can check current conditions by calling 607-739-9164 or 607-737-2843. There is no entrance fee during the winter season.

In addition to ice fishing and skating, Park Station offers opportunities for cross-country skiing and hiking every day. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult, and participants engage in these activities at their own risk. Ice fishing is prohibited within 100 feet of the designated ice-skating area.

For further inquiries, individuals are encouraged to contact the Buildings and Grounds Department at 607-737-2843.

"Christopher J. Moss," stated Chemung County Executive.
